Active Plus Supports Over 150 Families Through Thanksgiving Essentials Initiative

This Thanksgiving season, Active Plus remained committed to supporting the students and families we serve by providing critical food and hygiene essentials to more than 150 families across the Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Brooklyn.

At a time when many households were facing increased uncertainty and food insecurity, this initiative helped ensure that families had access to essential resources during the holiday season. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners, Active Plus was able to help ease some of the challenges families experienced and provide support when it was needed most.

The Thanksgiving Essentials Initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to serving the whole family and strengthening communities beyond our youth programs. By addressing immediate needs and connecting families with resources, we continue to work toward creating healthier, more resilient communities.
